passion does not equate feelings
you can have passion for something you dont feel.
in our christian walk, what do you seek for?
encounters with God? feelings?
"i cannot feel God, i dont think He is real"
"but i never encountered Him before, how can i have faith?"
"i cannot see/hear/feel/smell(?!) Him.."
sounds familiar?
LIES.
knowing God's word is far more important than encountering Him.our christian walk is NOT sustain by experiences and feelings.yes, these are part of our relationship with God.but what are we truly seeking from Him? its His Word we are to seek, not some holy holy mighty mighty *BOOM* touch at the alter that will make u fly a thousand yards.that's not the main point, dear.
our job is just to read His word, obey and have faith in Him.ultimately, our aim is NOT to experience Him, but to KNOW Him.

i do pray that you'll seek not encounters but His will.i do pray that that you'll understand that you can have passion for God even when you claim you never felt/experienced Him before.i do pray that God adds unto you knowledge that you may understand how your life should be.i do pray that things are not routined.i do pray that you not only know but apply.i do pray that you head the right direction in seeking God.i do pray that you will still be coming to church and doing your quiet time even when you think nothing happens.i do pray that you understand the spiritual realm better.i do pray that christianity is not JUST "christianity" to you.

and i do pray that you rly want to know God that's why you go to church and stuff.and not because you go to church and stuff that's why you tell people you want to draw closer to the Father.

icesktg was pretty fun tdy.just that i felt rly rly tired and looked rly rly moody.and some funny stuff happened btwn kare and i.we held hands while sktg and this guy came out of no whr all of a sudden.i nearly fell and was pushing some part of kare's body for support for abt 10secs.i'm not supposed t go into details lah.hahaha.but i found it rly funny.laughed till i couldnt stand properly.and she was embarrased..sry kare.and thx for rendering assistance. =D

ah.i'm out.for the week plus nxt week.and most probably the following one too.since the canoe team is gg t go icesktg agn.
