God made me who I'm meant to be,
He loves me just the way I am

So, I went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for Work Attachment the whole of last week. It felt like a divulgement into a doctor's life. The impression relayed by the Media turned out to be ignus fatuus, really. After some reconsideration, I thought I would conclusively eschew the Medical Route, but I'm on my second thought now. For the millionth time, I'm chagrined to say, I'm lost.

But I digress.

The course was insightful and enriching. Besides sharing his knowledge of Medicine, Dr Yap Wee See (ACJC's Mrs Yap's husband!) also imparted valuable & respectful Life Principles. And he was honest. He didnt hide anything about his work nor workplace$. I saw deaths, I saw pain. I saw compassion amidst professionalism.

It was enjoyable working with 3 vastly different comrades. When I say vastly differnt, I mean vastly different. Estelle, the one with the Bunny. Mindy, the SCONEr. Shawn, I dont know, the clown. Given my ingenerate tendency to get irate, it was almost inevitable for me to snap at anyone in the group. And I shamefully admit I did. Whoops. Shawn called me a Female Tiger. (FYI, Shawn, a female tiger is called a Tigress.)

Eventually, I dont regret spending the long, tiring but lucrative hours at TTHS.

Mindy, Estelle, Shawn.
This photo reminds me of ER somehow.

I didnt blog about the gruesome bronchoscope and all because of this:

Stir-fry Curry Pasta! (MY invention, dont copy)

Its a simple story, really.
I was hungry.
There was no food at home.
I boiled pasta to realise there was no pasta sauce.
I found a 3/4 bowl of curry and a few sticks of crabmeat.
Dumped everything into the wok and "stir-fried".
(Well, I stirred, and it fried)
It was good.
I didnt get any stomachache after that.

Tell me I've got an affinity with food.

who am i, that i should deserve something so Divine

This week has been, bar the madhouse at TanTockSeng, a sentiment-deluging week.
(Note: Madhouse not in a literal sense, otherwise that would make IMH instead)

I'm vindicated to believe it is the Time of the Month, ergo.

Albeit the wordblock, I'm enigmatically compelled to blog somehow:
1. Jac sold her Levi Jeans
2. Dr Yap is Mrs Yap Wai Heen's husband
3. I havent meet Z/L/G/Jee for close to a week ):
4. Mango's having 50% but its not worth your time, really
5. Lifeguard Girls + 2SD3 is much missed

Ahh, reckon I'll do this another time. Brain's anorexic. Night, folks!

(P.S: Next post: my affinity with pasta, and experience at tths)

to know You Jesus as my Lord

Holidays have ended for me. Why? Because work attachment at TanTockSeng Hospital has started. Today would be Day1. Pretty tiring, but that's the price of experience.

I want to move to livejournal or wordpress (I wonder if Blogger reads this.. they may decide to ban me) but I cant bear to part with my 602 (now 603) posts! Anyone knows how to transfer Archives? Like everything from 2004?

Recently I've been to beaches with incredible relish, thanks to maniacal beautiful photographs. Would admit that beaches is Singapore are not as picturesque as _________, but the motley crew I was with defines the geniality.

thecrazyJ and I crashed G's and had my virgin attempt at Beef Stomach. It was bad.
Ohyes.
Mental note to self: Never sleepover without bathing after cycling at the beach /:

Lately, I've also started trying to mug.. Really (:

Yesterday met this crazy kid at the Ridout :D
& I didnt like her cat shirt ):

Concluded yesterday with 3 mysterious Bimbs crashing my place to look at Ah-gong & my Sis
