a little overdued but, well, i just got the pictures for the NUS Invitational Lifesaving Competition (yes, we do have such competitions) and guess wht i found?

i never knew eating a banana could be so glamorous. hahahaha! damn, it looks really sick alright! (mental note to self: bomb the photographer)

and on saturday, i went back to crescent for Speech Day, as an Awardee. pretty unexpectable if u askd me 2 yrs ago. but i'm glad, and i'm grateful.

i swam in the oversized blazer.
but its alright, because i like swimming.

and thn mdm kwan came to us (chihui, rose and i) after Prize Presentation. u know, i bet she didnt rly know/rmb us, but wanted shots of herself (probably because chihui said she/her clothes looked pretty). she randomly picked people to pose with her, tada:

and she later asked me for my handphone number so she could contact me, to ensure i develop the photos and send it to her personally. oh, she asked for my name too!

but sis said that i have to understand that tchers are always proud of their students. and they like keeping such pictures because they feel insecure and need assurance. alright, i added the second line in myself, sis didnt say that.

speaking of which, i'm upset. sis is moving into the hostel alrdy. it didnt feel so bad at first, but now truth sets in. i'm ________. i need sis to neutralise the effect. come back quick! 4yrs please pass by fast!

just hung up the phone with lovely lejing. thank You, God, for lejing really. she makes me feel like superwoman in my depressed moments. i know this sounds amazing (?!) but tdy, i felt suicidal.

i know its politcally incorrect to type such depressing posts and be so honest. but honesty is the first step to solutions, isnt it?

anyhow, i was encouraged by things she said, and enlightened especially by this, "if you honour God, God will honour you". powerful, isnt it? life is not difficult to live, there's just one simple rule to success: honour God. the rest will fall into place neatly.

on a lighter note, BM training officially starts today. i can strip fast but cannot swim fast. xueyuan can swim fast but cannot strip fast. opposites attracts, that's why we're such good friends. did i mention that i love xueyuan? well, know you know.

xueyuan and i were greeted by a bodiless hand pointing at us the moment we stepped into the toilet to get changed for training. totally freaked out, though is was just a toy. its the shock luh, since it looked so real.

while we were leaving holland v at 9.30pm,
me: *yadah yadah yada*
xy: ohmygosh.
*both stop walking*
xy: (in one breath) when we walk up the stairs we quickly run okay cause i just saw a rat
*xy immediately runs off leaving me stunned*
me: (surpressed scream within) xy!
*runs up the stairs unglamly*

xy, dont do this next time. i dont register things in my head fast. and i dont like rats.

we crashed lejing's house for ben&jerrys and kinda bonded.its ben&jerry's day YET again, and i swear xueyuan and i are no where near our journey to successful weightloss. shucks. but i guess, it was worth it?

i love the lifeguard girls. they are super sweet. i told lejing and xueyuan that i was upset abt something someone said which made me feel really insecure, and sweet lejing called me immediately and talked to me and made me feel so much better. and sweet xueyuan text me and it really cheered me up! ;D thank God for them, friends so sincere, understanding and honest. i love them, but more thn that, i love God who made them.
